Jackie started doing yoga in 1997 as a way to balance her physical and spiritual interests. Yoga resonated with her immediately because of its holistic practices. Over the years she has come to love how yoga can be incorporated into her whole life to leave her feeling grounded, connected and positive.
Jackie was drawn into teaching because she wants to share all the tools of yoga with others. She was certified as a yoga instructor with Yoga by Sarah and has taken workshops with Michael Stone, Dawn Maxner and Maria Garre. She wants people to know that they have the ability to help heal themselves physically and emotionally and that there is nothing to be “good at” in yoga. “I want people to walk out of my classes feeling good for showing up and breathing. I want them to take that into their whole life.”
